Congrats! You’ve made it to your second trimester and now it’s time to find the best newborn photographer to capture your sweet babe in all of their newborn bliss.
I know it can feel overwhelming figuring out which newborn photographer is best for you. But here are a couple of things to think about as you begin your search.
- Portfolio/Style – Make sure you like their style. What you see in their portfolio is what you are going to get. Make sure it appeals to you. For me, I like light, bright and airy photos and that’s what you see in my work. I have a bright studio that compliments every skin tone. All of my newborn photo sessions are done in my in-home studio.
- Experience/Safety – Your newborn is precious and you don’t want just anyone working with your baby. You want someone who has taken newborn safety trainings and has a lot of experience working with babies. I have over five years of experience photographing newborns. I have also completed newborn safety training through the Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International (APNPI)
- Experience – Do you want to feel pampered before your session? Are you looking for someone who will take away all of the guesswork when it comes to hair, makeup, clothing, and then what to do with your photos afterwards? If so, we just might be a great fit! I will connect you with amazing hair and makeup artists who will pamper you on the day of your session to help you look and feel your best before you get in front of the camera. Additionally, I have a wardrobe of over 60 feminine dresses for you to borrow from for your session, so you don’t even have to worry about finding something to wear. And I’ll help you style the whole family so you all look your best. Lastly, say goodbye to leaving your photos on your computer never to see them again, I’ll help you bring your images to life in your home through heirloom artwork like custom albums and luxury fine art prints for your walls!
