Your baby is only going to be this tiny once. Their features are going to change daily. I will walk you through every step in the process ensuring each little detail is taken care of. After booking, you'll receive my newborn welcome guide, vision boards for your family, and access to my amazing hair and makeup artist who will pamper you on the day of your session. I recommend reaching out early in your second trimester to ensure availability. I only take a limited number of newborn sessions each month.
1. Say Hello
Once you've confirmed that we are the perfect fit to work together, I'll send you a booking proposal. At this time, we'll put a tentative newborn session date on the calendar, about two weeks after your due date. You will also complete your session agreement and invoice for the retainer to officially reserve your due date on my calendar.
2. Schedule it
Prior to your session, you will receive a newborn session prep guide which will walk you through everything you need to know to prepare for your session. You will also receive a style board with inspiration for outfits for your entire family. You are welcome to borrow from my client wardrobe (60+ size inclusive dresses).
This is also the time for you to reach out to my preferred hair & makeup artist who will come to pamper you on your session day. You don't have to worry about a thing, all you have to do is show up with your sweet new babe, and we'll take care of the rest!
3. Planning it
Your newborn session takes place in my home studio in SE Portland, Oregon. We will create a variety of images together in a minimalist + natural way. We will laugh, have fun and give you so many beautiful moments to soak up your new baby. The whole family is always included at your newborn photo session.
Newborn sessions could last anywhere between 2-4 hours. We work at baby's pace to ensure they are comfortable + happy. Sessions with older siblings tend to take the full 4 hours. But don't worry, no one is in front of the camera that whole time! And there is a park nearby for older kids to go and get the wiggles out after their part of photo day is over.
4. Your Session
About 3 weeks after your session, we will schedule a time for you to view your images via an online reveal + ordering appointment. You will have 48 hours to view your images, select your favorites, and decide on artwork. This all takes place from the comfort of your own home.
Purchased digital images are delivered within 24 hours of placing your order and artwork is ready for delivery in about 6-8 weeks. I'll schedule a time with you to deliver everything to your home. Making the entire process as easy as possible for you.
5. Your Photographs

Pricing is simple. A non-refundable retainer of only $300 is collected upon booking your session. This covers my time and talent for planning and preparing for your session and access to my client wardrobe. All digital images and heirloom artwork are purchased during your online viewing and ordering appointment.
